Producer (TTRPGs)
Snowbright Studio is seeking a Producer to grow Snowbright’s tabletop RPG offerings, including expansions to both our Teatime Adventures and ink product lines. This is a 40 hour per week, full-time position that reports to Snowbright’s CEO. If based in the United States, this position is remote with a preference for candidates located in California, Massachusetts, Ohio, or Virginia. If based in Canada, there is a preference for this role to be in-person based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Scope of Role
This role will support the development and growth of Snowbright’s TTRPG catalog, including leading new projects from concept to production to final polish and sign off.

Production Experience
5 - 10 years of experience in tabletop games
Proven track record of creating and shipping commercially successful tabletop RPG books in print and digital formats
Past success in coordinating complex production schedules across contractors and staff
History of working with contractors and ensuring that they hit all production deadlines on time
Experience leading rounds of art review, copyediting, layout revision, and player feedback to create a better final product
Other Qualifications
College degree in a related field, such as English or Game Design
Physically located in the United States or Canada
Preference for candidates located in California, Ohio, Massachusetts, or Virginia (US) or Halifax, NS (Canada)
Willingness to hear extensive details about your coworkers’ pets
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be progressively taking lead on different products in Snowbright’s TTRPG catalog. While that comes with a lot of fun, we also know how challenging it can be checking that every period, ability modifier, and NPC portrait is in the right place before sending a book to print. We know that RPG production and making a TTRPG book the best that it can be is about passion, and so we hope that you are passionate about RPGs too.
During a week, you might find yourself doing the following tasks:
Seeking out new artists and writers to collaborate with (10%)
Communicating feedback and schedules to art, writer, and layout contractors (25%)
Reviewing text and art assets as well as layouts sent in by staff and contractors for accuracy and completion (35%)
Coordinating an early playtest to get fan feedback (10%)
Writing out a product blurb and exporting key assets for the marketing team (10%)
Converting early concepts into a draft production timeline for the next project (10%)
Compensation
The US remote salary band for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 USD, depending on qualifications, experience, and scope
The Halifax in-person salary band for this role is $50,000 - $70,000 CAD, depending on qualifications, experience, and scope
