Marketing & Events Coordinator
Snowbright Studio is seeking a Marketing & Events Coordinator to grow Snowbright’s Cozy Companion and Grim Omen fan communities. This is a 40 hour per week, full-time remote position that reports to Snowbright’s CEO.

Our company’s work has been featured in The New York Times, Venture Beat, and the Associated Press. Our studio’s games have won and been nominated for multiple awards, including Teatime Adventures (2022 Origins Finalist for Best RPG), ink (2023 Tabletop Awards Finalist for RPG of the Year), and Cozy Companion (2024 Origins Award Winner for Best Writing). Our game studio (2023 Tabletop Awards Finalist for Studio of the Year) and leadership team (2023 Games for Change Vanguard Award Winner) have been recognized for their work as well. Scope of Role
This role will support the development and growth of Snowbright’s in-person and online fan communities, including by organizing and executing Snowbright’s event strategy as well as through support of our online community. This role has a significant domestic travel requirement and will require monthly travel to points across the United States.

Physically located in the United States near a well-connected airport
Events Experience
Past success in hitting sales and marketing goals at events
Prior experience hiring short-term booth workers and organizing event booth shifts
Prior experience designing event booths, from initial concept and layout to finishing decorations
Willingness to travel to any of the 50 states and a wide variety of conventions (game, comic, horror, anime, etc.)
Events Physical Requirements
We expect that this role will have a travel requirement of 20-30% (~1 week per month)
Ability to lift maximum weight airline baggage (50 lbs)
Ability to set up 8’ tall tension banners solo
Ability to maneuver boxes and gear across the show floor
Marketing Experience
Experience managing online communities, such as Discord servers and Facebook Groups
Fluency in social media and ability to create short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts, etc.)
Prior experience creating compelling content for a brand, working on a team or solo
Preferred Qualifications
College degree in a related field, such as Communications, Marketing, or Digital Media
Familiarity with PAX and other ReedPop organized conventions
Prior experience working as a social media coordinator for a brand
Preference for candidates located in Columbus, OH or Boston, MA
Willingness to hear extensive details about your coworkers’ pets
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be representing Snowbright both in-person and online to our fan community. That comes with a lot of trust and responsibility - and also a lot of fun and excitement. We know that our fans are passionate about our work, and we hope that you are too. During a week, you might find yourself doing the following tasks:
Coordinating hotel rooms, badges, local booth workers, and load-in for an upcoming event (30%)
Making and sending quirky videos to the Communications Manager for posting on social media (20%)
Coming up with a fun exclusive event pin/swag concept and passing it over to the Art Team to create (10%)
Responding to questions on our fan Discord (15%)
Packing up your kit and hopping on a plane to a new city (25%)
Compensation
The salary band for this role is $45,000 - $65,000, depending on qualifications and experience
